Story Assignment from Chong

These next few drawings were done for my story class. We were asked to create two characters and draw them in numerous actions to show their story.

First I created "Redford Johnson" aka "Ol' Red Long Johns". He's best described as the town troublemaker, always just in his red long underwear. He has a bum leg so he uses an oversized pistol tied to his leg as a crutch.

the Other is Sheriff Soaring Eagle. He's lived a sheltered life growing up on the reservation. He went into town looking for work and wound up getting the job of Sheriff, thanks to Ol' Red no one else wants it. Soaring Eagle is a different kind of sherff. He is so tough he pins his badge directly on his skin. Through their differences they seem to find a type of middle ground that they can get along on and they became a kind of odd couple.
