The Handi-Captain

I apologize in advance to anyone who is sensitive to making light of situations pertaining to the disabled, the Nazi's or being Canadian. i realize not everyone shares my sense of humor, but that's just part of growing up, right? So i say to you with utmost respect if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to read it.

I did some small guache paintings for a superhero i presented in my Superheros class at Calarts (critical studies?)

Henry Carpenter was an amazing Olympian in the event of horse vaulting at the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany.
he went on to win the gold medal and put the rest of the aryan bastards to shame... and he did all this without use of his legs, because he is a paraplegic.
However, little did the public know that this was only scratching the surface of what was his true purpose,
for he is...


...the Handi-Captain. Sanctioned by the US government and provided with a special wheel chair that turns into a helicopter, his mission was to infiltrate Germany and kick Nazi ass from the inside out.
with help from partner, 4 gold medal winner, Jesse Owens. Code named "Fo-Mo", short for "Fastest Mutha F***er Alive!"

the war came to an end and the Handi-Captain and Fo-Mo returned home. Years went by and Jesse passed away


Henry Carpenter is now the Coach of the Track & Field team at Tom Jones High School.
...when one day are rare and tragic accident befalls his star athlete.
Henry discovers this was no accicent. It was the work of the 2nd coming of Adolf Hitler.
Henry explains to his student that the trap was intended for the Handi-Captain, not him and offers to train him in the ways of the Handi-Captain for a chance at vengence and stop 2nd Hitler.

...meanwhile, sinister plotting takes place in the shadows.

It is soon revealed that 2nd Hitler has been re-incarnated in the body of 12 year old Canadian girl, Alice Harring. Along side with malicious guidence from Joseph Goebbels, "the Canary of Chaos" re-incarnate.

the Nazi party has traded in their swastika arm bands for maple leafs. Alice and her "Menacing Mounties" plan to march on the U.S. but they are cut off at the Canadian border by the Handi-Captain and Apprentice. they do their final battle where the apprentice exacts his vengence, thus becoming a new Handi-Captain for a new tomorrow.
